Kelsey began her career in wedding planning more than a decade ago at New York City’s iconic Plaza Hotel, where she planned and executed hundreds of weddings and social events ranging from intimate celebrations of 50 guests to grand occasions of more than 500. During her time at The Plaza, she had the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s most respected names, gaining invaluable experience in creating seamless, memorable events.

She went on to join the team at the trendsetting New York EDITION, where she planned a diverse range of events, from corporate meetings and special occasions to product launches, PR events, and sophisticated cocktail parties. Alongside her hotel career, Kelsey continued to pursue her passion for weddings, providing pre-planning and day-of coordination for celebrations throughout New York City and working alongside renowned industry professionals.

After welcoming her first son in late 2022, Kelsey knew she wanted to build a career that allowed her to be more present for her growing family while continuing to do what she loves most. That vision became Kelsey M Events— rooted in experience, creativity, and a belief that every celebration should feel entirely personal to the couple.
